FHA and V A and Conventional mortgage appraisal requests are handled for new loans or refinance loans. This includes appraisals for persons needing a reverse mortgage, such as retired or elderly people. Lenders, brokers, attorneys, insurers, government agencies and private individuals are always welcome to place an order. No matter who you are, we can help! We also do appraisal work for PMI which is also known as private mortgage insurance removal to help people lower their monthly payments, appraisals for divorce or probate settlement, appraisals to help you determine an appropriate listing or sale price, insurance appraisals, quality control desk or field reviews of appraisals that have already been done, appraisals to assist with estate settlement, appraisals to contest high property taxes, appraisals to obtain construction loans and more.
These services can be ordered for a home, condominium, duplex, or four plex.
We also perform inspections in Travis, Bell and Williamson Counties for FEMA Declared Disaster Counties to determine if a home has experienced flood damage.
The fee for a typical house appraisal is three hundred and fifty dollars. Your home will be inspected by a state certified residential appraiser who will measure the house and the garage or carport as well as the porches or patios or decks that you have. The appraiser will observe the layout and features of your home. Photos will be taken of your property. In doing the appraisal, the appraiser will compare your home to other homes in the area that have recently sold. When the process is complete he will issue a report via email in PDF or Portable Document Format. This type of report can be used for obtaining a loan.
